HULL Bio - Neil Wicker

Hi my name is Neil Wicker.

I am finishing up the final 4 hours of credit for a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of South Carolina. I am currently employed by the Geology Department as a lab tech.

I am a Navy veteran with two years of active duty service, having left active service as an Aviation Ordnanceman 3rd Class. I served with Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 135 Black Ravens (VAQ-135) homeported at NAS Whidbey Island, Washington. VAQ-135 was then attached to Carrier Air Wing 11 which was assigned to USS ENTERPRISE (CVN-65). I was aboard Big E for her around the world cruise in 1989-1990 from Alameda to Norfolk, where she entered the yards for a refit. The biggest thrill being able to watch NEW JERSEY and MISSOURI together during a live fire excercise.

My hobbies include hunting, fishing, history, black-powder firearms, and wargaming.

My favorite wargames are:

Command at Sea
2nd, 5th, and 7th Fleet (Board Games)
Air Superiority/Air Strike
Little Round Top
Civil War (Victory Games)

My current Harpoon project is updating files for Macintosh Harpoon 2 and trying to figure out a way to edit scenarios and platforms without having to borrow a friend's PC.
