HULL Bio - Craig Barnett I'm a 28 year old computer programmer, with no military experience to speak of. Born at Port Kembla (on the south-east coast line of Australia) I now live at Maitland, near Newcastle, about 2 hours north of Sydney (you should all at least recognise THAT city). I have been married for 5 years this coming October, and have a little girl (four weeks old this coming Monday!). I've been a bit of a dabbler in wargames most of my life, including boardgames (who remembers Starfire?), miniatures (mostly fantasy and sci-fi), and computer games specifically, which started when I got my first computer (a vic-20) back in the early '80s. Oh...I played quite bit of AD&D and Traveller in my teenage years as well. I like playing sims, action games (ie duke, doom,), roleplaying games (you name it, I have probably played it if it's more than a few years old), and wargames/sims. My favourite games in this genre always seemed to be released by a local company here in Oz, SSG (Strategic Studies Group), and include Reach for the Stars, the Battlefront series, the Decisive Battles of the American Civil Wars, and of course, Europe Ablaze and Carriers At War (the original Apple/C64 versions, which still rock!) I was aware of Harpoon for years, but never really had the opportunity to play it until a couple of years ago when I picked up Harpoon Classic on CD for a song and a dance. I was hooked straight away, and the swooped down on the Admirals Edition of H2 when it appeared here. I prefer Harpoon2 to H1, I just wish it ran a little better on my 486dx-100...sigh Whoops....my two minutes are up....back to the shadows.
