My Name is Bernd, I was happy to find this list a few days ago (with a little help from Davide Bertone). I'am 32 years old, married with one child. Harpoon is one of my hobbies since 1989.

I live in Bonn, the former German capital. I'am a mechanical engineer working as a technical writer. I'am writing all kind of documentation from Toaster over car's (specially FORD) to radar systems. That makes the job so interresting. In the near future i will be involved in writing an operation and maintanance manual for the radar system TRS-3D (Tactical Radar Search 3D) which is under construction for duty on the new frigate F122 for the Bundesmarine.

I spend my military duty (2 years)in the army at an logistic and transport unit, but I was always fascinated by ship's and naval warfare.

I'am also interrested in books, i have everything of Tom Clancy and Dale Brown and now I try to get everything from Larry. Now I'am reading "Cauldron". It's difficult to get "Red Phoenix" in Germany, i ordered it in November last year but I don't have it yet.
