HULL Bio - Patrick J. O'Hara Jr.

My name is Patrick J O'hara Jr , married (just recently) I reside in Eau Claire, WI. I am a Machinist for an Aerial lift manufacturer, went to college locally for a degree in Mechanical design technology. If you could hear me talk you would realize there is something wrong with this picture, because I was born in Port Arthur Tx, (yes my mom went to school with Janis and Jimmy) and raised in Longview Tx, My father is a retired Coastie,(CWO4).

Military:
I was pretty much a houligan growing up, (raised by single mom) and at 17 was convined I needed to be in the fleet (didnt want to follow in dads footsteps {not no puddle pirate, no sir!}) after boot camp, went to A-school in Dam Neck Va. For the rate of Operations specialist, grades were good and detailer gave me Pre-commisioning duty aboard U.S.S. Ingersoll (DD-990) 28th of the 30 Spruance class DD's built (could have been more w/iranian 4 and changed hulls for Cg47 ect...) Served my entire tour aboard same, enjoyed it more than can be said in words (probaly why I still serve vicariously through HC).

Gaming:
I started out with Spectrum-Holoybyte's Falcon 3 have, have upgraded as far as i can go, to me its the most realistic flight-sim(military) outhere with the exception of su27 (I dont like Reds) and Ah-64 longbow (nope not whirlybirds either) Devoted to the Electric Jet lets just say and i'll stop there. Fairly new to harpoon, but catching on fast, with all of your help (Thank you all for helping me get up to speed)

Callsign:
Fishermn? friends started calling me that in CIC because I was HI-Far happy when I controlled our Seasprite, (If we would've had a dipper ?) Os2 (a.s.a.c.,a.i.c) our dutys were mainly ASW picket in the BG (Sprinting) or Rescue DD following the CV
